About the opportunity :
For decades, our Club has been one of the most respected and renowned in football. Its vision to develop young players who are technically and tactically capable of playing for Everton’s Men’s First Team, or having a career in the professional game, remains as focused as ever.
We are looking for a passionate individual with a keen eye for potential to join our grassroots scouting team on a casual basis. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of youth football who wants to help identify promising young players in the area. You will work closely with the area co-ordinator to support the recruitment strategy.
Key Responsibilities:

Attend Local Fixtures: Watch grassroots games, private academy sessions, and schoolboy matches agreed with your co-ordinator.

Player Identification: Spot and assess young players with high potential, focusing internal player profiles.

Reporting: Submit robust player recommendation & coverage reports.

Collaboration: Maintain communication with the co-ordinator to align on scouting objectives and targets
Who You Are:

Experienced in Youth Football: You have hands-on experience in grassroots football, either as a player, coach, or volunteer, and understand what it takes to succeed at the youth level.

Observant and Analytical: You have a good eye for talent and can identify key traits that indicate potential, even in young players who are still developing.

Good Communicator: You can relay your observations clearly and effectively, both verbally and in written reports, to the Co-ordinator and other team members.

Passionate About Development: You are enthusiastic about helping young players grow and are excited about creating opportunities.
Requirements:

Football Knowledge and Experience: Practical experience in youth or grassroots football.

Transport Access: Must have a valid driver’s license and access to transport for traveling to various games and events.

Availability: Flexible schedule, with availability on weekends and evenings as needed.

Attention to Detail: Ability to submit accurate and timely reports on players to support the overall recruitment strategy.
