Our client is a leader in commercial real estate and investment. As part of their ongoing growth, they are looking to recruit a Chartered Building Surveyor to join their team in Liverpool
If you're a RICS qualified surveyor with a background in commercial property and a keen interest in delivering high quality consultancy across diverse asset types this could be the ideal next step for you.
Responsibilities for the Building Surveyor:
- Assist in delivering technical due diligence for a range of UK and EMEA investment and occupier clients.
- Undertake building surveys for both individual properties and larger portfolio instructions.
- Prepare and support negotiation of Schedules of Dilapidations on behalf of landlords and tenants.
- Conduct defect analysis and contribute to PPM schedules and refurbishment strategies.
- Support Contract Administration duties and refurbishment/fit-out project delivery.
- Collaborate with senior colleagues and internal teams to ensure client expectations are met.
- Ensure work is delivered on time, within budget, and in line with professional standards.
Requirements for the Building Surveyor:
- MRICS qualified, ideally with 1-3 years of post-qualification experience.
- Experience or strong interest in technical due diligence, dilapidations, and contract administration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a commercial approach.
- Capable of working independently and as part of a wider team.
- Proactive mindset with a willingness to develop client relationships and support business growth.
- Willing to travel throughout the UK and EMEA as required.
- Full UK driving licence.
