Vision for Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and qualified 1:1 Tutor to support secondary SEND students in Huyton who require further support accessing education. This is a rewarding opportunity for tutors who can be flexible and who can tailor Maths and English lessons to meet individual needs, whilst working toward students achieving their goals. Sessions may take place in a variety of settings which means you must be able to travel. Whilst part time, there is an opportunity for increased hours for the right 1:1 Tutor.

Requirements:

• A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, TEFL, TESOL, BA Ed etc.)
• Experience working with SEND pupils
• Strong understanding of the secondary curriculum
• Commitment to regular, scheduled tutoring sessions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive, flexible, and learner-centred teaching style
